Pingfederate SCIM Inbound provisioning - ping

I have configured SCIM inbound provisioning in pingfederate 7.2.0 using Active Directory as an user store. But when I hit the URL exposed by ping to search for an user I get the following error on the browser-
{ "totalResults":0,"itemsPerPage":0,"startIndex":0,
"errors":[{"description":"User and/or certificate not found","code":"401"}]
}
In the logs it says
11:34:29,251 DEBUG [Authenticator] AuthnInfo: ID='null' cert:false
basic:false from CERT:'null' BASIC:'null' 11:34:29,251 ERROR [UsersIdResource]
Unable to find a connection associated with the username/password and/or
certificate passed in with the request.
11:34:29,252 DEBUG [TrackingIdSupport] [cross-reference-message]
entityid:null subject:ranajoy
Can someone please help me with this?

I was having this exact same issue. I set up my Provisioning connection correctly, and it worked in other environments, and everything looked good. But then I got this error. If I changed the Basic Auth to a bad password, the error message at least changed to "Bad Password for <user>".
I took another look at my connection and realized I never actually activated the connection:

SSRS The Report Server has Encountered a Configuration Error

I'm running SSRS 2016 on a local machine for development purposes. I've been running into this error quite frequently and spontaneously, as in I will run a report, then 3 minutes later try running the same report with the same parameters and all of a sudden my config is broken without changes. I start mucking around with the configs and eventually, seemingly spontaneously, again it will start working again. Then the cycle continues where it works for 1 hour - a few months before just breaking again.
Here is the screenshot from my Web Service URL:
The actual error message from the log is:
ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ServerConfigurationErrorException: AuthzInitializeContextFromSid: Win32 error: 1355, Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.ServerConfigurationErrorException: The report server has encountered a configuration error. ;
When I google that error message I get a bunch of forum posts about sending emails and email configuration but I'm not trying to send emails nor do I have any email stuff configured.
Here is the configuration I'm using under Reporting Services Configuration Manager:
Service Account:
User Another Account (My Domain Account) I've also tried every combination of built-in account which also seem to work when the server doesn't throw this error..
Web Service URL:
IP Address: All Assigned
TCP Port: 80
HTTPS Cert: N/A
HHTPS Port: {blank}
Database:
My Local SQL Server instance and Report DBs using Windows Account login
Email Settings (all default settings):
Sender Address: {blank}
Current SMTP Delivery Method: Use SMTP Server (drop down is read only cannot be changed)
SMTP Server: {blank}
Authentication: No Authentication
Execution Account:
Specify an existing Account: unchecked
Subscription Settings:
Specify a file share account: unchecked
I've also restored and changed encryption keys numerous times and deleted all Encrypted Content under the Encryption Keys Pane. I always use the same snk file for the key and same password so I know it's correct.
If there's any additional information I can provide to help, please let me know. I know this is a bit of a longshot but it's really annoying and impedes my productivity developing SSRS reports.
Thanks in advance.
Well, after more googling, half way down the first page of results I finally came across this article:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/3171505/fix-the-service-is-not-available-error-when-you-use-ssrs-2016-portal-a
I downloaded the suggested Cumulative Update 2 for SQL Server 2016 and low and behold, my local setup is working again. Could this be just a coincidence? Absolutely. I will report back if it dies again with the same error but I'm hopeful for the time being.

Zabbix Mattermost notification integrations - Timeout exceeded while connecting to 'localhost' when testing Mattermost Media Type

I am trying to intergrate our mattermost with zabbix to receive notifications on alerts. I've followed up the instructions on this link. We are using Zabbix 4.4 with MM 5.19.
After enabling the integration, No alerts are being posted on Mattermost. I tried testing the Media type on Administration > Media Types > Mattermost > Test.
I've added the following as the parameters, but it throws the error : Connection timeout of 3 seconds exceeded when connecting to Zabbix server "localhost".
bot_token : {Token generated for the Bot in Mattemost}
mattermost_url : {https://mattermost.our-company.com}
send_mode : alarm
Tried changing {ZABBIX_URL} to both http://127.0.0.1 and http://zabbix.our-company.com (The DNS is resolved only internally, but our mattermost is available on public network) but none of them work.
I checked the logs inside /var/log/zabbix but no error or anything. I even tried putting the zabbix logs to Debug mode but no luck in any case, the only Debug log I've got is the following :
2063:20200216:090224.146 trapper got '{"request":"alert.send","sid":"74095b240dd6783618571516f029187a","data":{"parameters":{"zabbix_url":"{$ZABBIX.URL}","send_mode":"alarm","send_to":"{ALERT.SENDTO}","event_tags":"{EVENT.TAGS}","event_name":"{EVENT.NAME}","event_nseverity":"{EVENT.NSEVERITY}","event_ack_status":"{EVENT.ACK.STATUS}","event_value":"{EVENT.VALUE}","event_update_status":"{EVENT.UPDATE.STATUS}","event_date":"{EVENT.DATE}","event_time":"{EVENT.TIME}","event_severity":"{EVENT.SEVERITY}","event_opdata":"{EVENT.OPDATA}","event_id":"{EVENT.ID}","event_update_message":"{EVENT.UPDATE.MESSAGE}","trigger_id":"{TRIGGER.ID}","trigger_description":"{TRIGGER.DESCRIPTION}","host_name":"{HOST.NAME}","host_ip":"{HOST.IP}","event_update_date":"{EVENT.UPDATE.DATE}","event_update_time":"{EVENT.UPDATE.TIME}","event_recovery_date":"{EVENT.RECOVERY.DATE}","event_recovery_time":"{EVENT.RECOVERY.TIME}","bot_token":"qs3rkqdappy6i8gs3a8871phxc","mattermost_url":"https:\/\/mattermost.our-company.com"},"mediatypeid":"7"}}'
What can be the issue? Is there a way to "debug" and find the root cause of this error? Any help is appreciated! Note that right now we have integrated Slack with Zabbix and it's working fine, but we are moving to Mattermost and therefore, we need to migrate the integrations as well.
We found out the issue with our Network Admin. The problem was that our Zabbix server was trying to resolve Mattermost name from local network route (i.e. 192.168.x.x) and it kept failing, therefore, no SSL connection could be initiated.
It seems that Zabbix integration tests' error messages are quite generic and sometimes, misleading. Thorough investigation is needed for finding out the root cause.

Exception occurred while flushing email queue on Ionos virtual cloud server

I have a Symfony 4 application running on 1und1 on a package called "1&1 Unlimited Plus". The SMTP config looks like this:
MAILER_URL=smtp://smtp.1and1.com?username=****&password=******
and it works fine. I also have a development copy of this application on my local dev server with same config. This dev copy can send emails, too.
Since the databases on "1&1 Unlimited Plus" are limited to 1GB, I ordered another cloud server from Ionos. With the same config I am not able to send emails. I got this error in dev.log:
Exception occurred while flushing email queue: Connection could not be established with host smtp.1and1.com [Connection timed out #110]
Ping on smtp.1and1.com works, it reveals the same IP like if I ping on my dev server. On this cloud server I have running:
Plesk Onyx
Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS‬
DNS turned off. I have just an A-record on the origin server to the IP of cloud server. NO MX-records set.
I checked the firewall rules. No outgoing limits found, just incoming. I added TCP 25 to incoming rules but I dont know if it is necessary.
I tried another ports but then I got this:
Exception occurred while flushing email queue: Expected response code 220 but got an empty response []
More config:
swiftmailer:
url: '%env(MAILER_URL)%'
spool: { type: 'memory' }
Any idea whats wrong?
I found the solution. Ionos closes the outgoing port 25 per default. This is nothing I can find or change in admin area, only technical support can open this port.

Sending test mail fails in confluence

I need to evaluate notification functionality in confluence.
I have installed confluence locally on my PC.
I have configured mail server in it by going to General Configuration->Mail Servers->Add a new SMTP mail server
I have provided smtp.office365.com as Server Host Name and 587 as Server port.
I have used my company user id as User name and corresponding password.
However when I try to send a test mail, it fails with below exception
"Caused by: javax.mail.MessagingException: Could not connect to SMTP host: smtp.office365.com, port: 587" and also we have tried to configure our smtp server and getting error as "Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect"
I have seen accepted answers for this question at post https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/139025/error-while-configuring-mail-server
However that is related to a bug Java1.7 whereas I am using Java1.8.
Can someone please suggest any idea what thing can be wrong?
Looking at the hostname it seems that the mail server is in the internet. If you are behind a proxy you will need to configure this in the java options as described here

Relay access denied on sending mail, Other domain outside of network

Sending mail results in error "Relay access denied".
It throws "Relay access denied", whenever I tried to send mail to "other_domain" from "outside_network".
It works just fine for "myown_domain" from "outside/inside_network" and to "other_domain" from "inside_network".
Here is the list of telnet commands.
mail from:myself#mydomain.com
- 250 2.1.0 Ok
rcpt to:yourself#mydomain.com
- 250 2.1.5 Ok
rcpt to:yourself#yourdomain.com
- 554 5.7.1 <yourself#yourdomain.com>: Relay access denied.
rcpt to:yourself#gmail.com
- 554 5.7.1 <yourself#gmail.com>: Relay access denied.
rcpt to:yourself#yahoo.com
- 554 5.7.1 <yourself#yahoo.com>: Relay access denied.
I followed all the steps described in "Microsoft Support" and make sure that server configured in correct way and it do not reject any mail. I also tried to trace through using couple of blogs like this one.
While using MxToolbox also got the same result "Relay access denied".
As "Relay access denied" is very common issue.. there are lot of blogs/documentation are there.. I tried to read all, but I think I am looking in wrong place.
Does anybody have any suggestion?
If it is giving you relay access denied when you are trying to send an email from outside your network to a domain that your server is not authoritative for then it means your receive connector does not grant you the permissions for sending/relaying. Most likely what you need to do is to authenticate to the server to be granted the permissions for relaying but that does depend upon the configuration of your receive connector. In Exchange 2007/2010/2013 you would need to enable ExchangeUsers permission group as well as an authentication mechanism such as Basic authentication.
Once you're sure your receive connector is configured make sure your email client is configured for authentication as well for the SMTP server. It depends upon your server setup but normally for Exchange you would configure the username by itself, no need for the domain to appended or prefixed to it.
To test things out with authentication via telnet you can go over my post here for directions: https://jefferyland.wordpress.com/2013/05/28/essential-exchange-troubleshooting-send-email-via-telnet/
Configuring $mail->SMTPAuth = true; was the solution for me. The reason why is because without authentication the mail server answers with 'Relay access denied'. Since putting this in my code, all mails work fine.
I'm using THUNDERBIRD as a MUA and I have same issues.
I solved adding the IP address of my home PC on mynetworks parameter on main.cf
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 [::ffff:127.0.0.0]/104 [::1]/128 MyIpAddress
P.S. I don't have a static ip for my home PC so when my ISP change it I ave to adjust every time.
Set your SMTP auth to true if using the PHPmailer class:
$mail->SMTPAuth = true;
