I have an InstallShield 2012 suite project containing several msi packages that are localized and I'm building the project by using IsCmdBld.exe. The weird thing is that when I select more than 18 languages in UI language property of an .msi file, the building process of the suite project crashes right after it tried adding the .msi file to the setup.
The log looks somehting like this:
...
Adding File 'xxx.msi' for Package 'xxx'
Copying from "d:...\msiprojectdir\xxx.msi" to "d:...\suiteprojectdir\xxx.msi"
and after that line, it throws an exception.
If I try to build it with less than 19 languages selected, it works like a charm. Any ideas on how to solve this?

When I try to generate new project in libGDX project generator I get error message like this:
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
*What went wrong:
Could not determine java version from '11'.
The thing is that it generates project just fine on my PC, but now I cannot do it on my laptop. Any ideas why is this happening?
Both run Windows 10 with the newest JDK, I use the same settings for generator on both.
I am creating an example for our next F# meetup and have run into an issue.
I have downloaded the FSharp.Data v2.2.1 to try the JSON tutorials to parse (stock options) data downloaded from the web. I have been struggling with this issue for almost a week now. I have followed the suggestions seen in other posts including complete uninstall of packages suggestion. I ran into the same issue trying to use the CSV provider and decided to switch to JSON.
I have #load #"C:\ full path to dll ...\lib\net40\FSharp.Data.dll" For some reason I have to give the full path for the F# script file to recognize it.
The line open FSharp.Data has an error "The namespace 'Data' is not defined"
Nuget package manager shows that FSharp.Data version:2.2.1 is installed.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled all packages in the project several times but it does not change the error.
So I am stuck at that point. I could use some insights from anyone who has been down this path.
The following steps worked for me. I started from a new F# project and did everything in F# Interactive.
Right click references folder in the project manager.
Select manage nuget packages
Install FSharp.Data
Reference the library in F# Interactive:
\#r #"C:\Users\{Full project path}\packages\FSharp.Data.2.2.1\lib\net40\FSharp.Data.DesignTime.dll";;
I get the warning that the library is locked. But F# Interactive allows me to open it.
Open the library:
open FSharp.Data;;
Run JsonProvider on file with data:
type Stocks = JsonProvider<"C:\msft.txt">;;

what should i do now , your help would be highly appreciable !
You should use be using the Cordova CLI for your command line workflow for building Cordova Apps. For Cordova, more information is available here. If you want to use VS, then I strongly urge you to install our VS 2015 RC build which enables you to build Cordova applications for iOS, Android and Windows. More information for VS, is available here.
I'm trying to use the sqlite-winrt library at https://sqlwinrt.codeplex.com (cf. http://blogs.windows.com/windows_phone/b/wpdev/archive/2013/05/30/sqlite-winrt-wrapper-for-windows-phone.aspx) because I need to access an SQLite database via SQL commands in a WinRT 8.1 and a WP8 app and this library seems the only available option.
Anyway, there is no binary release and if I try compiling the source I get several link errors for unresolved externals against the SQLite DLL. I posted an issue at codeplex but got no reply yet, so I was wondering if anyone had already managed to successfully compile this lib and how (or if you know of any viable alternative for RT8.1 and WP8). Here is what I did:
downloaded the latest source from the site.
downloaded and installed 2 VSIX from http://www.sqlite.org/download.html: sqlite-winrt81-3080002.vsix for RT 8.1 and sqlite-wp80-winrt-3080100.vsix for WP.
executed the powershell scripts in each subfolder of the source code solution, which are required to update the projects with newer releases of the SQLite for WinRT extension. The current versions of the scripts refer to SQLite for WinRT 8.1 (prerelease) which is the same I downloaded above.
opened the VS2013 solution and removed the RT project (I just need RT8.1 and WP, this was for WinRT 8.0).
5) built the solution, which failed with link errors.
If I see the RT8.1 project properties, I can confirm the reference to SQLite is under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1\ExtensionSDKs\SQLite.WinRT81\3.8.0.2.
Did anyone manage to use this lib? Thanks!
I also once had that problem. I fix it by editing the project file manually. At that time, the powershell script updating the wrong path. That's why I always failed when compiling my project. After I edit the project file using external text editor (I use sublime text), the projects are linked correctly.
You can try DatabasesCx. It is another SQLite Wrapper using Windows Runtime Component technology. It is freeware distributed as precompiled binary. You can find the details at http://www.almanacsoft.com/databasescx
I'm trying to build Marmalade project for Windows Phone 8 in Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 but receive following error:
error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'python.lib'
Seems that it happens because of wrong path to project's additional library directories. Currently it's c:\users\*user_name_omitted*\appdata\roaming\marmalade\packages\6.3.0\python_2.6.4\lib\wp8\x86
But in fact there is no wp8 folder. As I understand this foulder should be created automatically...
I have Marmalade evaluation license.
How can i get rid ot this error?
Two suggestions:
I've not got a working version to hand, but the bundled version of python with marmalade is (IIRC) 2.5.x, so the reference to 2.6.4 looks odd. I wonder if when you ran s3eConfig it was running a different version and got confused? More as like it should have downloaded some extra stuff and has not.
It might be worth uninstalling marmalade and then re-installing. There are reports of people not having a full installation following the install.
